Some students have been at college for almost a month now. Families are making plans for the official family weekend soon but in the meantime, here is a wonderful article by Monica Matthews about ways we can connect with our college students throughout the year. I am getting my pen and stationery out now to write both my daughter and son a note.

Do you have a junior or senior in high school? I do and I am excited to start exploring with my youngest son as he begins the college process. We are always searching out helping tools and techniques to help families as they start the college planning process. Take a look at these two posts from Almost Empty Nest and Yayas2Cents for helpful college application tips.
Each week College Scoops shares interesting articles we have read throughout the week about life in college, tips for college freshman, college admissions, college tours, parenting advice, campus gear, collegiate wear, dorm room decor, care packages, how to win a scholarship, deals on textbooks, test prep, and resources to help you with your college essay. As your son or daughter prepares for the college planning process, college visits, or freshman year, College Scoops is here to provide guidance, advice, and resources from experts in the field. If you read an article (or wrote an article) you would like to share, please send it to hello@collegescoops.com and our team will review it for our blog.
