Yale University is a private Ivy League research university in New Haven, Connecticut. All students are assigned to one of Yale’s 14 residential colleges, providing for a smaller community experience. Graduation ceremonies take place on the Old Campus.

Yale is home to the world’s oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group, the Whiffenpoofs. The 14 Yale seniors who make up this group are known as “Whiffs.”
