Established in 1841, Fordham University is a private Jesuit research university in New York City. Fordham is known for its friendly environment as students point out they are surrounded by supportive faculty members and peers. Fordham’s sports, including basketball and baseball, are NCAA Division I and play in the Athletic 10 Conference.
Fun Fact: Fordham played in both the first-ever televised football game in 1939 and a basketball game in 1940!
