The University Motto is Deus Lux Mea Est. meaning “God is My Light.” Catholic University is the only higher education institution founded by U.S. bishops in the country. There are just over 3,000 undergraduate students, over 25 varsity NCAA Division III athletic teams, and 100+ clubs and organizations to choose from.
