Brandeis University is a private research university with a liberal art focus located in suburban Waltham, Massachusetts. Brandeis has 3,600 undergraduate students and is home to the second-largest Jewish student population in the country. As part of the Boston Consortium, students are able to take classes at Boston University, Tufts, and Boston College. Around 40% of students study abroad, and the school colors are blue and white.

Brandeis has a strong sense of community that focuses on encouraging students to explore their passions, study more than one subject, and become an active member of society.
