Baylor University, the oldest university in Texas serving 16,000 students, is a private Baptist Christian university, emphasizing research and interdisciplinary education.

One fun tradition at Baylor is “Dr. Pepper Hour,” which occurs every Tuesday from 3-4 PM. Students and faculty converse over Dr. Pepper floats in honor of pharmacist Charles Alderton, who first conceived of this uniquely-flavored soft drink while working at the Old Corner Drug Store in Waco.

Between Waco Hall and Pat Neff Hall is a beautiful spot students love to visit to relax, study, or hang with friends.
