University of Pittsburgh Self-Guided Tour

If you are planning a college visit to the University of Pittsburgh then you have come to the right page. A leading public research institution, the University of Pittsburgh is based in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. Originally founded as a private institution, Pittsburgh Academy in 1787, the University of Pittsburgh is now a state university known for its strong Philosophy, Stem and Nursing programs. The Cathedral of Learning is the center of campus and it projects blue lights into the sky after a win on the football field or a championship game. Pittsburgh has become a foodie destination in its own right and with several other college campuses nearby, it is a fun college “town” to live and learn in.

We have a student-run late-night talk show called Pitt Tonight.
