Lehigh University

Lehigh University is a private research university located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Most of the 5,100 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate students live on campus. One fun fact about the town of Bethlehem…the headquarters of Just Born, the makers of Peeps, Mike and Ike, and Hot Tamales is based in Bethlehem. Unfortunately, they do not offer any factory tours at this time! Check out all Lehigh Valley has to offer with their calendar of annual events.

“Did you know Lehigh’s classes start 10 minutes after the hour because Bethlehem used to be a steel mill and shifts at the mill ended on the hour. So if students worked at the mill they had 10 minutes to get to class after their shift.”
